Acea is the leading Italian operator in the water sector supplying 9 million inhabitants in Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria and Campania; it’s one of the major players in Italy in terms of the distribution and sale of electricity, distributing 10 TWh and selling 8.3 TWh. Acea is the sixth biggest Italian waste-to-energy operator, and has processed 820.000 tons of waste. On 31 December 2016 the Group was employing 4.968 people.

Today, Acea is one of the major multiutility operators in Italy. Listed on the stock exchange since 1999, the Company manages and develops water and electricity networks and environmental services.
